NOVANEON

Terms of use

These terms cover this website and nothing else. Any engagement we do together is governed by a separate signed agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement wins.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Boxsail Limited, trading as Novaneon, a company registered in England and Wales. Registered office [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Company number [COMPANY NUMBER]. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means anyone using this site.

2. Using this site

You may read this site, and quote or share short extracts of it with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, reproduce it as your own material, scrape it systematically, or use it to train a machine learning model without our written permission.

You may not attempt to interfere with the site, submit anything through the contact form that is unlawful, misleading or malicious, or use the form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

3. This site is not advice, and you should not rely on it

Everything here describes an approach in general terms. It is not professional, legal, regulatory, financial or technical advice, and it is not an offer to enter into a contract. No adviser relationship is created by your reading it or by your sending us an enquiry.

Nothing on this site should be relied upon in making a decision about your own organisation. Every situation we describe is generalised, and none of it has been assessed against your circumstances. If you want advice about your position, engage us or someone else to give it to you properly.

4. Case descriptions and figures

The situations described on this site are composites and generalisations drawn from real work. They are deliberately anonymised, no client is identified, and no figure on this site should be read as a projection, a benchmark or a promise of any outcome. Timescales given for our own modules are typical ranges, not commitments. The commitment is whatever a signed statement of work says it is.

References from named clients are available under a non-disclosure agreement to organisations in genuine discussion with us. They are not published here, and their absence is deliberate.

5. Intellectual property

The text, diagrams, icons, structure and design of this site, and the method it describes, belong to us or are used with permission. The trade marks and names on this site are ours or our licensors'. Nothing here transfers any right in them to you.

The typefaces used on this site are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, and a copy of that licence is served alongside them.

6. Availability

We try to keep this site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee either. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice. Content may become out of date, and we are under no obligation to update it.

7. Links to other sites

Where we link to a third party, we do so because it was useful at the time. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of anticipated saving, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published on it. This site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

These limits apply to your use of the website. They do not apply to work we do for you under a signed agreement, which carries its own liability terms.

9. Privacy

What we collect and why is set out in our privacy and cookies notice, which forms part of these terms.

10. Accessibility

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. If any part of it does not work for you, tell us at privacy@novaneon.global and we will fix it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you use the site is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

12. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
